Blockchain Firm DMG Teams With D-Link In Best Practices For Mining
Networking equipment manufacturer D-Link has partnered with DMG Blockchain Solutions to improve the efficiencies of crypto mining.
D-Link is a multinational networking equipment manufacturing corporation headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan. D-Link implements and supports unified network solutions that integrate capabilities in broadband, cloud-based network management, IP Surveillance, switching and wireless. It has grown from a group of seven friends since its founding in 1986 to more than 2,000 employees and over 170 offices worldwide.
DMG is a full service diversified blockchain and cryptocurrency company that manages, operates and develops end-to-end solutions to monetize the blockchain ecosystem. DMG intends to be the global leader in bitcoin mining hosting, Mining as a Service (MaaS), bitcoin mining, forensics and diversified blockchain platform development.
Under the partnership, D-Link Canada and DMG will work together to optimize the crypto mining networking, including hash rate stability, network security and switching performance. The goal is to create a more efficient and profitable mining operation through best-practices and smart hardware choices.
D-Link Canada president Lou Reda said crypto mining and broader blockchain driven applications are a growing trend in Canada and around the world. He said their partneship with DMG has given them the opportunity to really get inside the crypto industry and understand the requirements of a large scale blockchain operation.
“Together, we’ve been able to meld our knowledge and work towards developing the networking solutions to improve technical operations and therefore increase efficiency within any blockchain application, whether that be for financial, medical or any other industry that uses blockchain distributed ledger as a foundational technology,” Reda said.
DMG COO and Director Sheldon Bennett said they partnered with D-Link Canada after reviewing other networking vendors and came to the conclusion that D-Link offered the best performance and value in the market.
“The D-Link solution exceeded all of our requirements throughout our testing,” said Bennett. “On top of having the right hardware for the job, D-Link went well above the competition in offering the support, technical expertise and willingness to work with us to achieve the goals we were looking for, and that is to build the most efficient large-scale mining operation in North America.”
