Australia is fake and if you think you’ve been there you’ve been hoaxed, Flat Earthers claim in their latest daft declaration
FLAT EATHERS have branded Australia a “hoax” designed to keep us all believing the earth is round.
An online rant has surfaced on Facebook claiming the Land Down Under doesn’t exist and neither do its 24 million inhabitants.
The idea resurfaced at a recent gathering of platygaens in Birmingham recently where over 200 people resolved that the world was disc shaped.
The "fake Australia" post started on Reddit back in 2017 and was written by a Shelley Floryd, reports The Mirror.
But the spheroid sceptics are re-sharing the rant with a vengeance.
It reads: "Australia is not real.
"It's a hoax, made for us to believe that Britain moved over their criminals to someplace.
“In reality, all these criminals were loaded off the ships into the waters, drowning before they could see land ever again.
"It's a cover-up for one of the greatest mass murders in history.”
The post also claims all Aussies are elaborate computer generated personas adding that if believe you have visited Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or anywhere else in the country: "you're terribly wrong".
Allegedly the airlines are all in on it and have been flying to parts of South America all these years.
There is apparently no suggestion that South America is fictional nor has the existence of New Zealand so far been questioned.
Over 200 conspiracy theorists gathered at a hotel in Birmingham for the UK’s first Flat Earth Convention.
The convention, which took place over three days, saw nine speakers explain why the Earth is flat.

According to The Telegraph , Dave Marsh, an NHS worker who spoke at the conference, said: “My research destroys big bang cosmology.
“It supports the idea that gravity doesn’t exist and the only true force in nature is electromagnetism.”
While NASA has proved that the Earth is round using GPS, satellites, and images from space, Flat Earthers flatly refuse to accept the evidence.
