‘Instead of shaking it off like another dog might, he just stood there, and the chicken stayed where it was.’
In a heartwarming video, four-year-old Harlso even recreates the iconic Love Actually film scene, where lovestruck Mark played by Andrew Lincoln expresses his true feelings to Juliet played by Keira Knightley using cue cards.
The Belfast-based pet has amassed almost 200,000 followers on Instagram since social worker Mr Lavery and his wife Jennifer, 31, uncovered his impressive party piece.

When Mr Lavery proposed in New York’s Times Square, it was no surprise that Harlso was on hand, balancing the diamond ring on his head.
And at the couple’s wedding he made an enchanting ring-bearer, complete with trademark bow-tie.
