A HEARTBROKEN family have paid tribute after a woman was found murdered in her home on Thursday.

Natasha Morias was discovered by Leicestershire Police at a house in Loughland Close, Whetstone at about 8.40pm on Thursday.

The 40-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene after officers responded to calls concerned about her welfare.

Her devastated family have paid a heart-braking tribute which read: "Natasha was loved by all her family and she will be greatly missed by us all.

“Her life was cut short and that will forever leave a hole in our hearts.

“We hold onto and will always treasure the beautiful memories we share and all the love she gave to all those around her.

On Friday, officers arrested a 27-year-old man, living in Coventry, on suspicion of murder.

A spokesperson from Leicestershire Police said: "Following initial enquiries, a murder investigation was launched by police and a 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

"He remains in police custody."

A further arrest has since been made as officers cuffed a 35-year-old woman yesterday on suspicion of assisting an officer.

Three others were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

The two men, aged 22 and 53, and a woman, aged 19, have been released under investigation.

Senior Investigating Officer, DI David Greenhalgh from East Midlands Special Operations Unit, said: “The investigation into this death is moving forward, but we are still appealing for any information that may help.

“Were you in the area of Loughland Close during Thursday evening, and do you remember seeing anything that caused you concern? It may be something very small that didn’t seem much at the time, but in light of this information, seems more significant.

“If you were driving in the area at around 9pm and have dash cam footage, please contact us.”
