Horror moment boy, 8, killed after heavy metal gate falls on him while playing with friends | The Sun
AN eight-year-old child was killed after a heavy metal gate at a building crashed on him, in India's Karnataka.
The chilling footage shows the metal gate moving and then falling as the young boy unsuspectedly played along with his friends near the gate.
When they realise that the little boy has been crushed by the gate, his friends and an adult passerby run to try and lift the heavy barrier.
Facebook users have since taken to the social media site to send their condolences to the victim and his family, who are from Karnakata, a state in the southwestern region of India.
"Very sad," Arvind Solapurkar said, while Manu Mahajan wrote: "Rest in peace".
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that a faulty metal gate caused the death of a child.
