Man, 23, stabbed to death & two others injured in horror attack as boy, 14, among 4 arrested
A MAN was knifed to death in a triple stabbing after a fight erupted outside a Royal British Legion club.
Police were scrambled to the seaside town of Lymington, Hants, just before midnight following reports of an assault.
A 23-year-old man found with knife wounds sadly couldn't be saved and was declared dead at the scene.
Another 23-year-old man is currently being treated in hospital for "serious injuries".
A woman, also aged 23, suffered superficial knife wounds in the horror but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police confirmed a 14-year-old boy is among four people arrested on suspicion of murder.
The other three suspects are aged 18, 20 and 23. All remain in custody.
A "verbal dispute" is understood to have broken out at the Royal British Legion club before it spilled over into the street.
DCI Dave Storey, who is leading the murder investigation, appealed for witnesses and said: “This is a serious incident, and our thoughts remain with the family of the young man who was killed.
“We believe this incident occurred following a verbal dispute at The Royal British Legion, and we have arrested four people as part of our enquiries.
“Officers remain on scene and there will be increased patrols in the area. If you have any concerns, or any information about this incident, please do not hesitate to approach officers."
Anyone who has information is asked to phone police on 101, quoting 44210425369.
