More Met Police officers investigated for 'texts about Harvey Price'

Five more Met Police officers are investigated for ‘swapping cruel texts jokes about Katie Price’s disabled son Harvey’ as former model demands they be ‘dismissed’ from the force

Another group of Met Police officers are being investigated for allegedly sharing vile jokes about Katie Price’s son Harvey. 

It has been reported that five officers, based in Hackney, East London, are facing allegation they shared ‘inappropriate material’ on a WhatsApp group about the 19-year-old.

They have been placed on restricted duties while standards inspectors make inquiries.

It comes just days after it was revealed another eight police officers were being probed over a WhatsApp group in which they are said to have made ‘sick’ jokes about Katie Price’s disabled son Harvey.

The officers, based at Bexleyheath police station, south-east London, are accused of posting racist and sexist jokes, mocking black suspects and bullying a female employee.

Scotland Yard confirmed that the eight, all based in the same team in the South East Command, were also placed on restricted duties. 

Last night Katie, 43, shared her outrage at the latest allegations against police officers making fun of her disable son.

‘They should be dismissed,’ she told The Sun. ‘It should go to court. I would go and speak up and take Harvey.

‘If you can’t trust the police who can you trust. They should all be named and shamed.’

Harvey was born partially blind and was later diagnosed with autism and Prader-Willi syndrome, a genetic disorder characterized by obesity

Harvey’s father is the Trinidadian and Tobagonian former professional footballer Dwight Yorke. 

His mother Katie has previously pushed for a ‘Harvey’s Law’ to be introduced that would make it illegal to troll or abuse others online. 

As well as making trolling a punishable offence, the law would also push for a registry of known trolls to be made available to the public. 

The 43-year-old said she wanted to talk with social media giants  Twitter and Facebook after Harvey was targeted by internet trolls.

She was left upset after a clip of a man in make-up pretending to be her disabled son appeared on Twitter.
