Murder hunt launched as woman found stabbed to death in Camden flat

COPS have launched a murder investigation after a woman was found stabbed to death on Friday.

The 55-year-old woman's body was discovered at a flat in Camden, north London.

Police scrambled to the apartment block at about 10.30am but she was declared dead at the scene.

Her next of kin have been made aware of her death, which has sparked a murder probe.

This afternoon cops confirmed two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

A 43-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man are in police custody after being picked up at separate Kilburn addresses.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Although police are confident they know the identity of the deceased, we await formal identification.
