Perhaps best known for his role as Mom Baskets on Zach Galifianakis' comedy series Baskets, Anderson won an Emmy Award for his performance on the series, which ran until 2019.
In addition, Anderson hosted popular game show Family Feud from 1999- 2002.
He was also named "One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time" by Comedy Central.
Fans continue to mourn Saget, whose name is now being replaced with Anderson's on the marquee of The Comedy Store as a tribute.
CBSLA reporter Tina Patel tweeted a video of the change.
Both comedians frequently performed at the famous Los Angeles club.
Saget, a notoriously raunchy comedian, was also well-known for portraying Danny Tanner on the hit sitcom Full House.
He reportedly died of a heart attack just hours after performing two sold out standup shows in Florida.
His funeral was held on January 14 and was attended by his fellow Full House cast members, as well as John Mayer, Jimmy Kimmel, Dave Chappelle, Kathy Griffin, and Chris Rock.
Tributes continue to pour in for both comedians, with many fans taking to Twitter to share their thoughts and condolences.
Saget and Anderson are two of the handful of celebrities who have passed away during the first three weeks of 2022.
