Terrifying moment a zombie-like fox 'infected with rabies' tries to attack a man in his own home
THIS is the frightful moment a "rabid" zombie-like fox tried to attack a man inside his home.
The man filmed the gore-covered animal as it tried to attack him in the town of Usinsk, Russia.
The footage begins with the fox pawing and gnawing at the doorstep of the house, its glassy eyes vacant and teeth bared.
But when he tries to shut his door the rabid animal it wedges its snout in the crack and tries attempts to bite its way through.
Like something from the Walking Dead TV series the creatures eyes glare in the camera from the cover of its bloodied and dishevelled coat.
It tries to use its teeth and claws to force its way into the man's home as he continues to film it.

Eventually, the fox realised that there is no way inside and it scampered off in search of easier prey.
The frightening footage is proving popular with viewers after the man shared it on social media.
User "Zina Ida" commented: "Oh my, zombies are here to attack us. It is happening."
"Black Devil" said: "To be honest, I feel sorry looking at it. Somebody either tried shooting it or hit it with something heavy on its head. I think this fox is simply in shock."
"Evgeniy Novikov" added: "Based on its injuries, I think it already bit some dog", and ‘Aleks Piskoppel’ noted: "Sick foxes needs to be shot down, so they don’t infect any other species."
The city of Usinsk was founded as recently as 1966 when oil was discovered nearby and the town remains the centre of oil and gas production in the Komi Republic region of the Russian Federation.
