Tributes to woman, 35, found dead in a country lane after her body was found by a dog walker as man charged with murder
TRIBUTES have been paid to a “beautiful” woman who was found dead in a country lane by a dog walker.
Police have charged Alan Edney, 30, with the murder of Kerry Owen, 35, after her body was found on Wast Hills Lane, Birmingham, on Saturday.
Friends of Kerry have paid tribute to her, with many saying they were “in shock” after her sudden death.
One said: “Fly high beautiful gone way to soon it’s a horrible world we live in hope your family finds justice.”
Another added: “The worst things happen to the best people.
“Rest easy up in the sky Kez, give them all hell up there, we love you. You will be missed by so many.”

Officers have charged Edney with her murder and he will appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court today.
Detectives have also released a 51-year-old man accused of assisting an offender under investigation.
A cordon remained in place for several hours in Wast Hills Lane after the alarm was raised by the dog walker at 6am on Friday.
Specialist officers from West Mercia Police continued their search yesterday afternoon.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "A woman who was found dead on Wast Hills Lane in Hopwood, Worcestershire, on Friday 27 May has been named as 35-year-old Kerry Owen.

"Alan Edney, aged 30, of Kenilworth Road, Birmingham has been charged with her murder and remanded to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 31 May.
"A 51-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released under investigation."
