Video of Patriots owner Robert Kraft and other men 'having sex in massage parlor orgy' to be DESTROYED, judge rules
ROBERT KRAFT and other men who were engaging in massage parlor sex will be spared the embarrassment of their alleged recorded orgies from seeing the light of day.
A Palm Beach County Judge Leonard Hanser sided with prosecutors and Kraft's attorneys determining that the video recordings – which he deemed inadmissible at trial – will be destroyed.
The damning tapes were already set to be erased back in January after a Florida federal judge claimed the 80-year-old billionaire and other customers were filmed during unlawful surveillance, the New York Post reported.
At the time, a “neutral third party” was set to be brought on to supervise the destruction of the footage.
The misdemeanor solicitation case against Kraft and nearly two dozen other men was tossed last year after a state appeals court supported Judge Hanser's ruling from 2019.
In it, Hanser determined the Jupiter, Florida massage parlor Orchids of Asia didn't adequately protect the privacy of legitimate customers who received legal massages.
Prosecutors didn’t challenge the appeals court ruling.
The New England Patriots owner was lassoed into a sprawling investigation into the Jupiter massage parlor for prostitution and human trafficking – where Chinese women were alleged to have been forced to sell their bodies.
The case ended without any significant convictions.
Originally the widower Kraft, who was chummy with former President Donald Trump, stood accused of engaging in sex acts at the spa on multiple days back in January 2019 – including the morning of the AFC Championship Game, when his Patriots defeated the Kansas City Chiefs.
Two weeks later, the Patriots successfully won their sixth Super Bowl championship.
Kraft pleaded not guilty — but apologized publicly in March 2019.
“I am truly sorry. I know I have hurt and disappointed my family, my close friends, my co-workers, our fans and many others who rightfully hold me to a higher standard,” he said.
Jupiter parlor's owner, Hua Zhang pleaded guilty last year to soliciting another to commit prostitution and renting space for prostitution.
She was sentenced to one year of probation and forced to remit $6,600 in court costs and fines.
The parlor’s manager Lei Wang, pleaded guilty to soliciting another to commit prostitution also was sentenced to a year of probation and had to pay a $5,000 fine.
