No charges were pressed against the woman who damaged the vehicle and West Midlands Police have been contacted for further comment.
The video – which was filmed by a TikTok user and has almost 400,000 views and 5,000 likes – is entitled ‘Welcome to Birmingham’.
The cameraman captures the footage from his vehicle as the woman, who is wearing a hooded sweater, tears the right wing mirror off the car in front of him.
She initially struggles to rip the mirror off the vehicle, which appears to be parked behind a lorry in the forecourt.
When the woman hears the owner of the car shouting, she manages to wrench the wing mirror from the car and runs away from the scene.
The cameraman is heard gasping ‘wow’ as she makes her getaway.
He then pans to show two men running out of a barbershop and shouting at the woman as she runs away.
