Heartbreaking tributes to mum, 57, found dead in her home – as man, 56, 'known to her' is arrested for 'murder'

HEARTBREAKING tributes have been paid to a mum who was found dead in her home as a man "known to her" has been arrested for "murder".

The family of Finola Moore, 57, from Birmingham, have said they are "shocked and truly devastated" after her body was discovered at 13:30 on December 28.

A man, 56, from the Perry Barr area in Birmingham, has been arrested on suspicion of murdering Finola and is thought to have been known to her.

Finola's family said she was a "beautiful mum, daughter, sister and friend.

"We will love her, miss her and remember her forever."

West Midlands Police said: "Further specialist expertise is being sought".

This comes as a post-mortem was unable to determine the cause of Finola's death, BirminghamLive reports.

The cops added that they were reviewing CCTV footage from the area around Perry Park Crescent.

The arrested man has been released on bail and the investigation continues.
