‘Killer, 20, stabbed screaming brother, 7, to death – then tried to knife himself’
A 20-YEAR OLD killer stabbed his screaming seven-year-old brother to death and then tried to knife himself.
Isidro Brito Bruno reportedly slashed Jacob Brito's chest multiple times on Saturday night in Haltom City, Texas.
Jacob's family tried to stop his bleeding before the paramedics arrived, but he died roughly one hour later at Cook Children's Medical Center.
Isidro was located by cops just two blocks away from the family home and he was holding a knife, having stabbed himself in the arm and stomach – police said.
He was then taken to John Peter Smith Hospital for treatment before being arrested and charged with capital murder.
He is now being held at the Tarrant County Jail with a bond set at $250,000.
According to the affidavit, obtained by Dallas News, Brito's sister said that she was in her room with her husband when she heard her younger brother screaming.

She said that she then saw her brother holding a knife with a "blank stare" on his face.
Isidro was previously charged with assault in May 2019 after he allegedly assaulted his sleeping father, police spokesperson Matt Spillane told Metro.
Police believe the young man was suffering with mental illness during last year's attack based on comments he made and statements from his family.
