Newlywed's family vow to sue hotel for 'breaching their privacy' after wedding brawl footage shared online

A NEWLYWED'S family has vowed to sue a hotel for "breaching their privacy" after a video of a violent wedding brawl was shared online.

Dramatic footage shows a lavish wedding descending into chaos as a bloody punch-up broke out among guests at the Ramada Hotel in Wolverhampton.

Three people had to be taken to hospital after the fight, thought to have started when a guest started flirting with other guests.

Police and paramedics descended on the scene but no arrests were made.

Hotel staff initially said the matter was amicably resolved after the punch-up erupted just after 9.30pm on Saturday, October 12.

But now the couple's family have threatened to sue the franchise for an alleged breach of privacy after footage of the fight was viewed thousands of times online.

They claimed they received an "£85,000 damages bill" and staged a protest outside the hotel, saying staff had filmed the fight and uploaded it to social media.

Under The Ramada Injured Party Action Group, they have also called for an apology, claiming there was a lack of safeguarding for the 500 guests, The Mirror Online reports.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the Ramada hotel said the father of the bride had agreed to pay all the damages made to the venue, before later rescinding his promise.
