Watch: Tyrrell Hatton boils over at Open Championship

Golf's a tough damn sport, made all the more difficult by the fact that you're supposed to conduct yourself with grace and a gentle demeanor even when that stupid little white ball won't do what it's supposed to.

Tyrrell Hatton plays golf better than any of us, but he gets just as frustrated as any of us do out on the course … maybe more so, since he knows what he's capable of. Friday at the Open Championship, his rage boiled over.

First, he offered up some perspective on … well, something, whether his play or the fans or the course, we're not sure. Either way, use your best judgment listening to this NSFW commentary:

Given that he'd just double-bogeyed the 11th while on the cut line, and fans had been jabbering throughout, it's likely this was all part of his boiling-over frustration:

A few holes later, when an approach leaked off the green, Hatton decided he'd had enough and decided to discipline the underperforming wedge:

Hatton finished the day at +2, one above the projected cut line. Tough to tell if he'd rather be playing or rather be done with Royal St. George's once and for all.
