Bitcoin’s Price At 6-month High Crossing $6000
Bitcoin crossed the $6,000 mark on Thursday to reach its highest price in nearly six months.
At one point the most popular cryptocurrency went as high as $6072.
At the time of writing this, BTC is trading at $5980, according to Coinbase’s price data.
Also, bitcoin’s market capitalization rose above $100 billion for the first time since November.
BTC attained a six-month high market capitalization of $106.3 billion, and daily trade volume of $16.3 billion on Thursday.
The leading cryptocurrency is passing through yet another great week of gains.
The price had been showing signals of crossing $6000 on Tuesday. It dropped a few percentages following the multi-million dollar loss incurred by cryptocurrency exchange Binance. However, it regained the loss on Wednesday.
In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin added $152.60, or 2.60 percent, to its value.
In a clear signal that digital assets have recovered from the shocking hack attack on Binance, crypto markets are generally doing much better.
