Coinbase is going to create a crypto-currency index fund
The crypto-exchanger Coinbase announced that it plans to launch an index fund for the management of digital assets.
One of the world's largest crypto-currency companies, estimated at $ 1,6 billion, formed a subsidiary company Coinbase Asset Management to oversee the new index fund.
According to product manager Ruvim Brahmanathan, the fund will provide investors with all the assets listed on the GDAX institutional exchange. Thus, if a new asset appears, it will be automatically listed.

The manager stressed that at the moment, there is a demand for a passive investment product on the market, in particular, among Coinbase customers.
Initially, access to the fund will be obtained only by investors who are accredited in the US, however, Coinbase is engaged in increasing the number of products available to users, as well as expanding the range of digital assets, reports Reuters.
